Sobremesa: Local Culinary Experiences

As I walked through the Hifas gallery in Santiago de Chile, I came across a scene that captured my attention: the deteriorated remains of a large group meal, as a trace of Natascha's artistic work. This "aftermath," marked by the passage of time, showed dirty plates and food on the table—a powerful image of what remains after a significant event, something I had previously seen in Marcus Nilsson photographs. I decided to photograph this moment several months after the performance, documenting the natural decay of the food over time, activated by the artist. The table, a silent witness to a past banquet, now tells a story of transformation and decay. The vibrant colors of the food had faded, the textures had changed, and a new visual narrative emerged.

During the photoshoot, each piece remained intact, fully respecting the artwork as it was conceived by the artist, without altering its original composition.
